    Sometimes it takes a minute. Kilo even is nice to our chickens. He did kill one, but that was trained out of him.

    Kilo likes big carrots for a snack. The chickens (Lovers and Tweety Bird) enjoy pecking at the carrot shreds.

    I'm not sure to be honest. The wife thought the injury might have happened when he got his leg caught in between one of the old pool lounger straps. If that's the case I wondered a compound fracture?
    I need to Google if cats can get parasites that prevent them from gaining weight. Anyone know? They seem to eat plenty but stay skinny.

    I had a Himalayan that would do that. It would paw me until I raised the covers. She would curl up next to me and purr and put me to sleep.

    That cat “ouzo” and I had a love hate relationship. This was the only time we got along.

    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    I've watched most of the Dr. Pol episodes, but I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, so for what it's worth: Yes on the parasites from injury, food source, water, etc. The parasites will take nutrients and slow growth. I'm not sure about the dewormer or if he used something else. It couldn't hurt to try, but have a back up plan.
