Getting ready to order a new grille that requires cutting the original grille. Has anyone done it?, how easy is it to do?, and how did the finished project turn out? This version comes with a light bar which means wiring will be necessary.

Any wiring tutorials advice or videos much appreciated.

Got a pic or a link to the grille?

Not sure of the type of grille you are referring to but there are satoshi grille writeups you can search. Very easy to do.

The install is not that bad. Use a dremel or a jigsaw with a fine tooth blade to cut the black center piece off. You can use 320 grit sandpaper to smooth out the surface. The rest is fairly straightforward.
