Has anyone removed a cap by using the rack (Prinsu or other) as a lift point?

For those times I may need to use the open box I'd like to be able to lift off the cap with a Wrangler-style hard-top hoist, leaving it suspended in the garage for a day while I do my thing.

As many as I can fabricate
Completely misunderstood the question. I'd look at the mounting points of the rack and maybe use some large fender washers to help distribute the weight. I think its dooable.

Worked perfectly. Even had enough length to the straps to lower the cap to my sawhorses.
