Who? Did you see marlin crawler is finally shipping out kits of the rclt hd kits? How do you compare that to jd, seems like jd is the more affordable.

The guys who built my sliders 12th state offroad. They make a really nice ADD harness and switch set up. Connor and Trey are good spudrunner_t4r and sweet_brown_80 on the ol IG as well as 12thstateoffroad. My sliders were an absolute hit I got messages for days from guys. Many of whom I sold SOS to are now wanting to ditch the SOS for what they named the Juggernauts

    My MC rant.
2 things on obtainable (not just financially) and secondly support after the sale. Oh yeah 3rd not a bunch of one off parts. I can call EMF and FK and get shit to replace what's in my control arms. Oh and 4th I was contacted over 1.5 yrs ago as an initial buyer for first production run but the email was littered with so much garbage. This was at the time they were having issues getting repair parts for their crawl boxes and years wait list for those so I bailed. Now he's making deals with IG and more limelight advertisers and still yet to deliver product to paying customers. Lastly the rack BS and hiding behind what they were doing totally lied and didn't come clean till the end. I won't ever recc a damn thing MC sells not even their LCA gussets.

They claim HD but the LCA isn't fully boxed it's flat plate on the bottom that's how they tuck the CV in it. I think a tubular LCA with proper gusseting would of been a better solution.

I'll put it to ya this way. I'll throw some 40s on the taco and run Fordyce with a lot bigger and wider truck and hit it harder and faster than Fred, Dave, and Mike did with my JD stuff with the upmost confidence it'll hold together. Most I've wheeled with will confirm 0 fears and willing to put my money where my mouth is. Harry may hate me afterwards but it'll knock a few dicks in the dirt.

The RCV outer stub is the only benefit to JDs axles otherwise their axles are better, runs a 200 series rack, I've got a tundra (with hydro assist going in), Their travel #s are not much better than JDs because inner RCV tripod is the limiting factor also the breaking point. I know several who broke RCVs for the tacos.

JD kit comes far more complete and JD offers the cheapest MAP pricing they can for kings even though they are no where near the volume as AccuTune or others. Harry will tell you to slow your roll and you don't need shit or what you do need based on what you want to do. He fucking calls you with updates when you have a huge order in with him or suprises you with sending you partial order and doesn't even have all your money. When I call the shop I get instant answering of the phone and whoever answers sounds like they just sprinted to the phone after dropping what they were doing. Never got told to call back or leave a message.

Go to the MC thread guys with the preorder have been trying to contact them for weeks with crickets or some BS emails back. There is no confidence there. I don't want to get pelfried. Last thing took MC over 3 yrs to put this shit out JD is flying with getting product out to market in 1/4 time. They don't need any of the production stuff they sell on the website their shop is littered with trucks their building that cost in the 6 figures with crazy one off suspensions. They've been doing it long enough and understand the geometry really well. MC this is his first swarray into suspension.

    Sorry for the rant. TLDR

MC sucks don't trust them go JD.

I figured you weren’t a fan but geez, lol I haven’t ordered anything from mc since I put their sliders on my 92 pickup. I have to agree seems like product never goes out or is waaaay behind. Id never be able to spend that anyways, now jd I might could if I could get some more fab work to where I think I could install.

Harry really did a really good job with the LCA pivot making it pretty straightforward install. It locates all on factory points and then you just have to do final fit up and weld. Mostly uphill/downhill so practice that a lot.

The LT kit you can. Install without all the fab work it's pretty straight forward. You don't need all what I got with hydro bumps, UCA gussets, lca pivot, the big axles, etc. He makes the most complete plug and play kit and is very honest saying where you can save money and what would be advantages for certain things.

I'd highly recc the UCA gussets at the very least but those are pretty easy. And will make a world's difference in how the suspension acts. Hell I'd recc the UCA gussets on stock mid travel stuff too.

I remember looking at the MC LT thread a year or so ago and was impressed. I loved the way those arms tucked up like that. Felt like I was reading a used car salesman’s ramblings though…that kit could have been badass, but they’ve ghosted way too many people. You know someone is reading these threads from MC and they still didn’t respond... I’m glad the JD option is out there. Less pomp and circumstance and more delivering on promises. Or maybe just not making promises to begin with since shit happens? Haha either way, definitely glad I went with JD.

I was just about to add those UCA gussets to my order, but wasn’t sure if I needed them. That coil bucket can flex a lottt. I was shopping around on the spindle gussets since I’m paranoid about my tires hitting. I was going to make my own, but I think I’ll just modify his if it comes to it.

Yea I’ve been watching Randy put his lt kit on the uca gusset doesn’t look bad, I just need to get a welder and do more stuff I’ve welded some before just want a lot better for my truck. I’m excited to see the jd uca and maybe one day venture into more of his products. I also gotta decide which truck to build more thinking rc, almost tempted to sell my blue while the markets up.
Yea it did look awesome when it came out on big Mike’s Tacoma, idk what happened to mc I’ve just got the vibe that their business practices aren’t what they used to be. Like a pelfrey situation sitting on g waiting on o.

Yep! Me and Harry have disagreed and I've pushed him what I like is he pushes back and can back what he says and also prove it when challenged. It make come off as brash but it's very matter of fact. Next time I'm down there remind me to show you the emails from MC from over 1.5 yrs ago begging for pre-order first production run money. It's gross. I ran after that.
What's wrong with JDs spindle gussets and your tires? If you're worried about his then TC and others will be in the same boat. IIRC my TC gussets sat a hair closer to the tire than the JD, by hair I mean like 1/16". All spindle gussets are pretty similar in that regaurd. As far as UCA gussets doeet his are nice and well priced. I looked at a bunch of different ones. I steered away from TC apparently a lot of people are having issues with theirs.

Was worried about them rubbing, but I don’t think it’ll be an issue. Yeah, they all look about the same.

messing around and built a jack skid. Was debating making an extension out of 3” tube since these don’t jack very tall, but I have a bottle jack that would be a perfect fit and strap to the front. That way I can have two jacks if needed.

I have been planning on doing that for a while. The pro eagle extension can fit on that jack with little modification and it’s not very expensive.
