We had 2 of the damn things -- The wife liked them and I like her...
Most miserable car to do any work on, to add oil is inconvenient anything more is at least a P-I-A or higher.

 

This sort of implies that they had value to begin with...

 

I’ve wondered how they clean those concrete pumps and tubes out, I mean get all the concrete out. I have a hard time getting it off the wheelbarrow when I mix it.

 

Friend of mine gave me this building several years ago, been wanting to put tin on the sides and happened to find a box of tin laying in my driveway

Had enough to do everything except the doors

 

They weren't a bad car to drive - had very comfortable seats, plenty of head room and a nice interior. My big issue was that I couldn't see out due to the low roof line and huge A pillars. I'm 5'11", she is 5'2" so wasn't troubled by that.

Mechanically however -- don't get me going. Despised those cars.

I drove one a long time ago, friend of my wife's owned it. Wasn't terrible from my recollection, but anything based on the Neon is not something I would want as a daily.

 

I always thought the door handle on PT Cruiser resembled the 1950's refrigerator door handle

 

I dated a girl who had a Neon. I didn’t like it…………or her

 

Took two days off and on but we filled the pool off of our well, 1,700ish gallons

I'm headed for the mountains in less than a week. Anniversary trip/last vacation before we have our little girl in Sept-that we are naming after my wifes middle name and our affinity for the area- Caroline.
