Obviously the Chevy will pull it better, but a Tacoma would be ok with that. You have a small SxS and a 4x4 quad, Im guessing around 2000lbs together plus the trailer.

I only pull a 12’ yard trailer to the dump from time to time. Everyone has their own needs and the Tacoma covers mine.

lmao my Tacoma would barely pull my 60” zero turn on a 10’ trailer. My father in laws 17 Tacoma struggles to pull his sxs on a 12’ trailer.

I didnt realize u had the 4 cylinder tacoma when I commented. That 2.7 4 cyl ran well in the the first gen tacoma I had but it was a smaller lighter truck.

My truck gets that dirty in my driveway, does that mean it's also used more than 99.99% of the trucks here?

I think you missed the perspective part of the comment.. full size for large towing would be an upgrade. You couldn't get that Chevy through some of the trails we do, so it wouldn't be an upgrade for how I use Tacomas.

I also have towed a 16' loaded with my old Tacoma, but it definitely didn't compare to the 2500 with a gooseneck.

    Different strokes for different folks.

Congratulations on the Tacoma! I traded my z71 5.3 crew-cab Silverado on my Tacoma back in 2017. Also been really happy with that decision. My chevy had nothing but problems, power steering, transmission, electrical, 4x4 quit working. It was POS. Never again chevy, never again. :annoyed:

Congratulations on the new truck it's very nice.

I know people will hate me for saying this but I use my Tacoma like a four-door four-wheel drive sedan with a huge trunk. The electric tailgate lock is a really nice feature.
