Yeah gonna do springs on it tomorrow. Was just gonna knock some bumpers out real fast but broke a bolt so I'll wait till it's on the lift

One lives in my tool bag, other lives with my spare 4Runner key.

Locking nuts came with 2 keys fortunately.

 

Fuck yeah; I remember you bought suspension stuff some time back.

Want to see that thing get a refresh so bad.

 

Spent some time this morning welding up and painting the sliders pretty stoked about how they are turning out.

 

Your 4runner makes me want to put more money into another project that I can't afford right now. Man it's looking good!

Feels like Toyota poached a Chevy designer specifically to fuck up front ends for 2022

 

Vehicles just keep getting more bloated and fatter, gotta keep up with man's image I guess

So I bought the 78 Squarebody Pickup

 

That body is straaaaaaaight clean, I love it.

 

The body is a total survivor, the interior needs work but wasn't destroyed entirely. Only rust is front quarters and the bottom of a door. Engine may be a potato

 

That's when vehicles were durable as fuck though.

Chevy small blocks are a dime a dozen everywhere, and with a vehicle that old, a standalone is cheap and easy.

Going fuel injected or carb?
