You’ve got clean well water! I filled mine off of my well and it was hazy and took some shock to clear it up. Mines 3,300 gallons, My well pump was not happy with that job!

I dated a girl who had a Neon.

We got married 22 years ago.

 

Mock the Neon all you want (it is a hideous little thing) but the engine and transmission combination was pretty damn good. I was stopped at a light and about to get on the interstate. When the light changed I started it off in second gear and didn't shift until I hit 60.

Mine is almost 10K gallons. When installing they fill about 12 inches of water with the garden hose (which I used 2), then I had the rest trucked in. Made more sense.

If the water is at all hazy, use a little clarifier. I always use a clarifier ball start of season, then add liquid clarifier weekly as needed. Couldn't hurt to use a little Iron-out right after the fill.

Oh yeah, if using the hose I would suggest wrapping the metal part of the hose in duct tape or just leave the sprayer nozzle attached. Less risk of nicking the liner.
