Is there a way to enable the gauge cluster lights while the lights are in Auto mode, before the headlights turn on? My Taco has 5% tint and 50% on entire windshield so it stays relatively dark inside. The trip odometer stalk will only increase/decrease brightness of the center screen and not the speedo or tach. Can I get these to be permanently on while not running my headlights? I have an ‘11 Lexus and the gauge cluster is always on which is nice considering it has same level of tint.

Test this: Locate the PANEL fuse, remove it. Turn the light stalk to Parking lights. Report back.

Tap the window power window motor wire to removed illumination wire on the door control. They sell an interior door handle led that has the appropriate wires already for repurposing.

I know what your saying. They pop on and off in and out of trees and shadows but should just be on the whole time. @Puppypunter

OP, no test on the Panel fuse? The test would verify that the Combo Meter gets it's light up signal from CAN BUS signal and not the PANEL fuse.
