I was 10ish found a Playboy Magazine subscription on the ground. Wrote my name and address on it and put it in the mailbox. A few weeks later I received a Playboy magazine sent to the house. Edit: it wasn’t until years later (and I mean, years later) my Dad and Brother were laughing about it in front of me. I had forgotten all about it. Now, when I think about it I only ever saw the first magazine show up. Hmm

Remember when...

 

Spin a penny into the nickel slot... it would often activate the phone AND come back though the coin return. Call your friends, and the first thing you would tell them is "this is a free phone call"..

 

Remember when the grocery store had a selection of a few albums and 45's? But if you wanted to choose from all of the latest you went to the "record store". And it was real music... the bands played their instruments and actually sang without auto-tune. And many of the bands had a Hammond B3....
