I'm surprised Caliraisedled didn't want the defect set back. Anyways, if you were in AZ I would gladly take them off your hands. Edit: I see your're a long bed. Don't think these would work on the short bed versions.

I’m not gonna complain haha it was overall a good experience. Would buy from them again. And ya, I don’t think the 94” sliders will fit a short bed.

damn I just bought a DCLB and need some sliders, but I’m in AZ. Glad to hear you’re happy with them because those are the ones I’m leaning towards. Did you get powder coat or bed liner for the top plates?

I think you can list them in the classified section for your region once you reach a certain amount of posts on the forum. You might try offer up or Facebook marketplace if you end up selling them. I hear about deals found on those sites frequently. Otherwise, I'm sure someone on here will jump on them soon.

Went with the power coat to save money. Seemed like there be plenty of traction with the holes. After using them for a month, had no issues.

“Press to Turn Something On” = GMRS Midland radio (although you still have to plug the mic into the stealth switch port and then turn on the handheld).

“Bunny Burners” = CaliRaised bumper LED bar (although it’s getting switched to Baja Designs 30” S8 bar. It’s been a great bar. Just need moar lumens. o_O)

“Roo Lights” = Baja Designs Squadron Pro Dutch lights

“Sasquatch Lights” = Baja Designs Scene Pods mounted on UpTOP alpha rack sides

“Flux Capacitor” = manual rear view cam activation

“Burn Ya Bastard” = Baja Designs S8 lightbar in UpTOP alpha rack.

Here’s a thing that just happened today, 16K on my ‘16. Obviously not my daily driver. Happened on my trip to snag these awesome boxes from Home Depot. F4E651D9-17CF-4018-BDBC-0E9085232B74.jpgDEFC3E29-EFCF-46F3-A7EA-615FDF16F9EB.jpg

have to say, impressed with their products and customer service. Not too many companies out there that do both well.

I’m a bit surprised I don’t see more of these in Tacomas. I just mounted 2 of the packout base plates on my prinsu. I throw the small tool cases with customizable foam inserts up there.

As you know the plastic bed rail caps just snap into place. Grabbing the extinguisher mount, I can pull the rail cap off the metal bed rail, so the JB Weld isn't the weakest link. But yeah we'll see how long this lasts with weathering and UV.

I’m looking for way to put a rolling rail system in to mount the packout base to so they can be pulled out of bed 1/2 the distance of the bed. And yes, I see lots of ways to use the packout system with my taco.

I won’t be cruising down the highway with anything more than the small 6” tall cases up there, but I’m thinking about the packout cooler for when I’m on the trails. There’s just so much versatility with the system I had a hard time seeing a better way to mount cases up there.

The topper is the ARE Overlander, the black accent on the sides is a bed liner material that is advertised to help with rigidity in high stress areas. It’s hard to tell in this picture but I did have the roof of it wrapped as well to match the roof on the truck.
