Lifts can limit the ability to align your truck. At some point you'll likely need aftermarket UCA to have sufficient movement /angles to align the truck, and possibly LCA as well.

You increase the wear on youy CV joints and such as well.

You increase the maintenance costs for operating your truck.

    Thanks guys
There is a lift kit on mine
The LCA needs replacement because the bolts to align are siezed. The wheels are not straight up and down they are tipped in at the top. Any special type of LCA would I need?

OEM LCAs will run you about $1k CAD for a set. Aftermarket LCAs (Delphi, Moog, AC Delco, Dorman etc.) are about $250 a pair on Rock Auto, but the included ball joints will typically crap out after a year. Recommend you order aftermarket LCAs and order a set of good ball joints (another $100).

That's where I'm to. I hate to spend so much cash on Oem when I can get as good aftermarket.
    Thanks

Beware aftermarket cam bolts like these are garbage - the D-shaped holes round out very quickly and your alignment will drift. OEM cam bolts are very expensive ($400-$500 for a whole set). Good solution are Bison Offroad octagonal cam bolts, but they are out of stock everywhere.

Your first OE set lasted 13 years!! I assure there isn’t an aftermarket set that will do the same. Period!!

    True
My LCA is actually not in bad shape. It's just that the camber/caster bolts are pretty siezed. I'm afraid that I will have to destroy the LCA in order to remove the bolts.

Just did this a few weeks back. Used a sawzall to cut the cam bolts out:
