I not sure the toggle switch for disabling anything traction control related is needed, at least in my 2015 Off road it does not seem needed.

I can push and hold the traction control button for 5 seconds, this disables ALL traction aids. I thought taking out the 4WD ECU effected this. It does not. I tried it out today, since it was the 1st time I have had to get the rig out since we modified it.

I can still disable all traction aids in 4hi and pin it, it will just spin tires, no traction control lights flashing or getting involved in digging a couple holes.

Put the anytime locker on in 4hi and do the same, 3 holes created instead of 2.

    :notsure:

Leave the traction control on, in 4hi and pin it. Almost instantly it starts using the braking system to try and assist. Then throttles the engine shortly after it is not happy the brakes are doing enough.

I never said it was, you can disable traction control in the 09+ trucks by holding the button for a few seconds, doesn't matter whether then truck thinks you're in 2hi, 4hi, or 4LO. What I did say was that if you want to be able to access the different traction control modes you will need the toggle switch. For example, Auto LSD which is only available in 2HI, TRAC which is available in 4HI, and ATRAC in 4LO.

I am not a traction control GURU by any means, but this fellow explains all the different features available. If you don't add a toggle switch, you will only get half these traction modes as your skid control ECU will either be permanently in 2WD OR 4WD, but it will not automatically switch between them once you delete the ADD switch and actuator.

Simple as I misunderstood, you explained it perfectly the 1st time, and again.

Added some sound deadening stuff to try an eliminate the new noises. Worked really well.

Now I want 3 of the same nobs.

My stock transmission nob, does not fit with the twin sticks. With the twin stick in 4lo the transmission shifter can not go to Park.

How can I get 3 of the same nobs? Or just the same as the twin stick black nob, for the transmission. The transmission is a different thread size. :bananadead:

This is what I did. I could not find the knobs I wanted with the threads I needed, so I just bought the knobs I wanted, cut the ends off my shifters and welded bolts to the end with the matching threads.

Get those “ridiculously over engineered billet aluminum shift knobs” made up as a set with mini versions of the main knob!

Yeah no mine requires a lot more and I may sell what I have and do something different. Contact Connor at 12thstateoffroad for the ADD switch and harness.

You can but if you do that I'd drop the front DS. If you swap tubes you'll be spinning the whole front driveline driving and it will rob MPGs. For a dd not very fun. Thats how I'm gonna roll just take the front DS out driving around then put it in for wheeling.

I have a TG verso case and doubler. Essentially an Inchworm lefty just TG brand. It's all Toyota gear driven and triple sticks. If I sold I'd get the new northwest fab doubler and an NP241 with the 4:1 ratio or a NP231 and put the 4:1 gearing in it.
