Mine FINALLY arrived in the mail. I know that there are instruction videos out there, but I installed it by intuition. It took me about 45 minutes that way. I absolutely love it. Once I take the time to wire my phone charger behind the radio, my life will be complete.

I have this for sale local pickup incline village NV with DMM

 

Received my kit from the last group buy a few weeks ago and finally found time to install it. I ordered the mighty mount with it. One of the best upgrades I've done. Install was easy, my dash is much cleaner, and now I have a place to put my phone.

 

I’m getting ready to install, didn't see any instructions/options for routing usb cable. Looked thru page 1-10. Anyone have any photos for reference?

Update on when these will be available? Something like this or something that you can screw a typical sized mic mount to would be awesome. I just purchased the DMM.

 

My windshield RAM MOUNT keeps falling off so I'm over putting my phone in the cupholder. I'm also annoyed the 2019 doesn't have Apple CarPlay... But that's besides the point. Is there a dashboard mounting system that doesn't require drilling? I should just accept that I'm keeping it until the wheels fall off and do some permanent upgrades.

 

Have you looked at the Meso un-holy mount? In my opinion, Taco Garage's DMM is much cleaner and more functional. A little drilling goes a long way.

 

I picked up the whole unit in post #1125 and installed it today. I notched the bottom with a round file. The install is clean enough for me and I didn’t have to hassle with drilling more holes anywhere else. Super stoked to get the whole unit and not drill into mine as well. Thanks @TwinTaco31719 for the hook up !!

This is THE EASIEST way to get power to your devices without any wiring dangling in front of the screen BUT... for an even cleaner look, you can also push both the USB and power outlets into the dash and run the cables behind the screen, then just fill the holes with blanks or use them for aux switches
