    Evening everybody. I am new to Tacoma World and needed some help.
    I recently installed LED turn signal bulbs to my Tacoma and now I have hyper flashing.
    Is there a relay switch I can purchase rather than a load resister that will correct the hyper flashing?

    Light Bulb with resistor incorporated or added external resistors is your choice. Turn signal/Hazard relays is non-removable, part of the Combination Meter.

    sadly, the , i believe it was a lost battle to cancer. but toyota ran the same turn signal relay in the majority of their vehicles from the '80's up to present. it just really sucks this truck doesn't have it. puts a serious kink in my led modification plans...

    Don't you have "tapturn" stock? That strobe mode is cool though.

    Yes, VLED TRITION bulbs. They have built in resistors but they are expensive lights. Very bright .https://www.vleds.com/shop-products/v6-triton.html

    You could bypass the internal relay by dividing and diverting the original feed to the vehicle turn signals into a resistor "bank", then add the tapturn to the vehicles turn signal switches (light stalk and hazard) and needed lamp wires.

    yes, the three-blinks is stock, but i wanted additional functionality-- i liked being able to alter the number of blinks from 0-6, as well as the strobe and wig-wag functionality. now i need to look into alternative add-ons to make it work...

    Maybe something like this:

    OEM Vehicle turn signal wires to a resistor each.
    T harness would handle turn flash, Hazards n Strobe via the added module. It would share the fused power from the Towing fuse.
    C11 is the Headlight/Turn Stalk

    A33 is the A/C Control Assembly connector which also houses the Hazards Switch.

    You would get dash indication, except when Strobe and while programming the added module, unless you also added tiny idiot lights in the dash area.
