The question says you are looking for validation to back up your indecisive mind of spending money on a "unknown" guarantee that is not guaranteed (internet) Like the others have said if you can take the hit of it being a junkyard dog with no return, I say go for it you can never get back a shoulda, coulda, woulda.

I'm an idiot, if you can afford it go for it.

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.

I'll chime in and agree with the rest. If you have the means go for it.
It sounds like exactly what you are looking for. 73K is just broken in for a LC, unlike other vehicles of that era.

The market for trucks is crazy right now and I would normally suggest holding off until prices come down. But Land Cruisers are always desirable and I don't see them getting any cheaper.

Sounds like the only downside is trying to afford to build 2 trucks. :spending:

If I were you, I’d give me the location and contact details for this vehicle :D
Then I’ll let you know if it’s still available

But really, if you want it and fits your budget, go for it. You can always change your mind and sell it, but it won’t always be available if you don’t buy it now and decide you want it later

Looking to buy a cb set up. It will be used infrequently. I've decided on a radio already and went with this one because its removable with no hardware. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00000K2YR/ But I saw someone using a stubby antenna. Anyone have any input on a whip vs stubby? I know the popular choice is a firestick for whip. Most use will be with you guys on trails and my buddy when we're fishing.

Some suburban camping this weekend at Evergreen Campsite in Wild Rose,WI. Was very busy there but the weather was perfect!

Pro tip: make sure your keys are not in the tent before you pack it all up nice and ready to hit the road.

My old cb was mounted in my 2017 and i traded it in.

i also bought the Motorola 75-822.
    080D5AE8-7688-4F5C-95C4-D662BA1DE2E1.jpg
Mine came with 2 different battery cases.(Pretty sure they all do) One for rechargeable batteries and one for regular batteries. Also has A 12v plug, stubby antenna and a few Motorola stickers!!!! I’m just going to use the stubby antenna that comes with it along with the power plug until I set up the Firestick.

*I might pick up a mag antenna at Walmart in case the reception is poor*

    I did buy a headset290AFA1E-B2B2-4F8B-AE0E-5438419DFD3E.jpg

I’m with you Rockindoc. I’ll only use this on Tacoma group trips so the super portable set up works for me.. I hope! Lol

I will eventually buy the Caliraised mount bracket and get a Firestick. I plan on just running the cable in the bed and through the sliding rear window. After I’m done using it I figured I’ll just unplug the cb, coil the antenna cable back up and keep it under the tonneau till the next adventure.

You guys are TERRIBLE, but great, influences.

Negotiations done, initial down payment made, and now finalizing logistics. Fingers crossed that all goes according to plan.
