So, all the HVAC components under the dash, I'll be taking them all out. Controls, vents, blower, everything. To inspect them, service them, and clean them. I won't be able to do this in one day. Between work and all, and possibly ordering replacements parts incase something needs replacing, it'll be close to two weeks. So, two weeks without HVAC. My only concern is not being able to defog the windshield and windows. Big safety issue when driving early mornings here (PNWish area). Rain is not uncommon.

What can I do in the meanwhile to keep all windows clear? De-fogging (i.e. Rain X type stuff) solution good enough? Maybe apply every other day...

Open windows a fan blowing to keep the drivers side somewhat dry.

lots of paper towels and wiping to keep the viewing port as clear as possible.

You can look at stuff like Parker's Perfect or Kleervu. We've used the first at my job to keep condensation from forming on glass fingerprint scanners.

Kleervu is new to me and I haven't tested it personally but it should be better prices than the first or at least come in different size options.

Had an 84 Toyota van with broken defrost. Screwed a little desktop revolving fan into the dash that plugged into the cigarette lighter. It worked, not great, but it worked.
