TEC || Ardbeg Summer Trail Cleanup June 25 - 27, 2021

We are T-minus two weeks before the big camping/trail ride meet!

Just a reminder to bring all the necessary items such as food, water, beer, camping gear and most important toilet paper! Park as far as possible from water source and do not drive through the lake, even on the side of it. Follow the map in the first post for the directions or DM other members here and follow them.

We've got some exciting things planned for the weekend, so hope to see everyone at the firepit Friday/Saturday night! Shots of Ardbeg and raffle prizes + who ever collects the most waste award are on the Saturday night FYI. See you all out there

 

PS. All the garbage bags and work gloves going to be provided by the club, so you don't need to bring those for the weekend.

Also, I'm hoping someone from the group can deliver a pair of hi-lift jack bed brackets I made for @Thyces to @TeecoTaco.

@TeecoTaco has graciously offered to get them to Leo. I'll have them with me either way.

 

i can get them to @TeecoTaco no problem. perfect time to pick up (and share a sample of ) the bottle of bourbon he grabbed for me a while back.

My AC compressor clutch went

As well my lower idler is making noise, I have ordered all the things.

I am hoping they arrive next week for install.

 

Going to be heading up Friday morning leaving Cambridge around 8 hoping to get to the beach a little after noon to secure the spot. If anyone else is heading Friday morning we could always convoy together. Due to having to move a family events schedule I’ll be leaving the next morning. Will be bringing some fire wood with me and hopefully everyone can bring at least a bag to throw in on the fire over the weekend.

• 3 trucks per team (unlimited passengers, within reason). Get in groups now and post here.
• Each team will be provided with a pair of gloves and garbage bags.
• Whoever collects the heaviest garbage bags/largest items located on the trails wins the prizes we have - donated by many members of the club.

Good news, bad news! We bought a house up in the shuswap area of BC. Bad news cant make the run I have to close in 2 weeks!
Sad to miss it, I know it will be a great time. Enjoy the Ardbeg scotch! Have a shot for me!
