Switched the decal out on my dusty Tacoma. :) I hate losing so when I heard Kyle was signing with Rick Hendrick I knew that he was going to be a winner. Was a fan before he lost his #42 ride last year.

Rebel Road on Etsy made the decal. He has a web site also.

This could potentially be a good race. 750 hp with low down force. Watching practice, they are completely off the gas, getting into the turns.

Stop yakking and start racing. Not dropping the green flag until almost 4pm - really.

So... pros and cons of NBC coverage...

1- I'm digging the fact they are covering more than the leader... all the mid pack battles getting more exposure than the 5 dominating.

2- I also like the no full commercials under green. They learned from their Indy coverage.

3- But... their commentary is gawd awful. I've heard at least a dozen or so gaffes and mistakes... and they drone on and on about the same thing.

4- case in point... The problem with the 18. They kept throwing out multiple hypotheses on why he fell to the back. If you listen to the team radio you can pretty much tell without a doubt... it was a mutiny. They finally kind of sort of caught on after a few minutes of talking about it.

Congratulations to the 5 car and Kyle Larson on their 4th win this season. Another dominant run.39F0401D-0151-4C85-B782-BA7525E4724F.jpg

@CusterFan thanks! Was inquiring more about the "mutiny" of the 18 but a ~10min synopsis of the race was nice.

I have the NASCAR All Access which basically allows you to listen to the team radios. I'll scan up and down sometimes during the lull points. I get to the 18 team and he was basically complaining the last two pit stops prior that his car was junk and wanted serious adjustments. After that one restart he was holding on for dear life he pretty much just said fuck it and went to the back.

This was proven when his crew chief asked him if his radio worked and what was going on... Kyle responded with I'll let you know when I have something to report.

The way I took it... He pretty much just got tired of trying to hold on to a bad handling car.
