Anyone running these LED tail lights for feedback? Anzo,Updated, bought a set

You should have looked at my tail lights when we took a drive. Uggg

They are definitely super high quality and a neat mod

 

Are these the same lenses sold by Razor Motor? Look the same, even has the same pics but less expensive than Anzo

Just put mine in yesterday and man are they bright!! Very happy with how they look and perform on the truck. Was also an actual 10 minute plug and play install, not 4 days like most things seem to be lol

 

nice! I finally managed to get mines working. Not a plug and play for my 03. Also added security screws so i can sleep easy at night

 

So anyone that has installed these, especially with an 01-04 that has done the 6th pin splice, does only the clear bulb light up in reverse, or any red lights as well? I only spliced and installed the drives side so far but when I put it in reverse the two tiny red LEDs and the large C shaped red lights come on as well.

Here's the photo someone else previously posted on how to mod the harness for 01-04 Tacomas.

 

The C shaped light are your tail/running lights and will kick on when you have your fogs and headlights on. They don’t turn on when you put it in reverse unless when you turn your headlights on. Your reverse lights shouldn’t be kicking on your tail lights

 

Got these LEDS for the backup lights,
They don't come with LED for the backup

 

Ok, so FYI, for anyone with an 01-04, if you do the splice for the 6th pin and install and test the driver's side, it will do weird stuff until you also install the property spliced passenger side. I thought I spliced something wrong or a previous owner had done some wiring voo doo on my truck causing this mod and taillight upgrade to not work. I was checking and rechecking everything. Well, I had a feeling it might be something to do with the passenger side not being installed yet so I decided to go ahead and do that splice and install the passenger side light and everything seems to work as it should. Whew!!

 

Can you share what lights those are?

@pkeawe just in case you're still looking to buy LED tail lights, here's where you can find them. It does state fitment for years 95-00, but the website indicated the side mirrors I installed (pictured), were only for 2000-2005 models and would (not) fit my truck. They're an exact fit and there were no modifications.

I believe from the 01-04 models it’s a direct fitment. This is the only mod you have to do for those years. Jump the wires behind those pins together using the c-splicers you can get from Lowe’s or Home Depot

 

This totally works. I have an 03 and just like the video says, remove a pin from your old harness and splice it with the grey wire for the driver side tail light. Then do the same on the passenger side but splice it with the ground wire. Tail lights work perfectly fine.
