Wow, so the window for BB pass really is like 4-6 weeks. I'm trying my best not to go out to CO this year. It's not like I'd do BB anyway.

My Ozarks intel gathering has been disappointing. Anybody who knows anything about good trails, waterfalls, swimming holes, or camping spots guards that info pretty well. I can't say I blame them.

Possibly, depending on how the winter went

That kinda sucks but yeah, I get it

I'd like to go somewhere sometime this year, just have to figure out what specifically. Got a few weeks of vacation to burn. Still need to make rear fender liners first...

Even the sites my wife and I really go to for swimming have been filled with some traffic. Everyone is out right now.

We just did a 32 mile float trip the weekend before last and I'm gearing up to do a section of the Ozark trail. Maybe up to 42 miles if I can convince my co-hiker. There is so much poorly documented stuff to do down in the Ozarks that I'm going to start taking my chances by picking a point and just heading to it for a couple of days.
Where to? I'm willing to share my secrets if you share yours ;).

    Why without sliders?

Took them off to get them blasted so I can repaint. That is taking longer than I wanted, plus I've got to get new hardware (had to cut a bolt or two off...)

Won't be wheeling too hard, mostly family stuff. Ill have a few scenic routes near Peel ferry on Bull Shoals though.

Sometimes just picking a place and going is the best. A couple years ago I basically fucked off to Ireland for two weeks with no plan whatsoever. Great trip.

    Camping: White Rock Mountain
Trails: Mill Creek OHV ($3/day entry paid via honor system)
Waterfalls: There's one that White Rock Mountain holds secret, ask them about it at the camp store. There's one somewhere in Mill Creek OHV too.
Swimming: Shores Lake has a swim area. Other than that anywhere you can find creek/river/lake access.
There's tons of little off shoot trails out there. Just pull up google and type in OHV.

If the water is still up you can Toyboata again. We did a creek crossing at Mill Creek OHV one way it was 2 inches below the cab, the other we backed out because we still hadn't leveled off yet when the water was coming up to the bottom of the cab.

FYI Mill Creek was made for ATV/UTVs so the trails are really narrow. Be ready for trail stripes. Some areas are wider though.

I'm pretty committed to the pinstripes look. That'll suit me just fine, I think.
