I need to get back into a rhythm of checking TW!

Random question, does anyone here CCW in NoVa? How? I feel like I'd always be one exit away from a felony. Need to get that figure out at some point.

Also on my todo list: cut away more of my cab mount and take the truck in for inspection to see what fails. That might be next weekend.

Got my suspension finally finished and new brake lines run. Took me 4 days lol, but its all together and all bolts double checked. Alignment is kinda whack, almost like it was the dude's first time and he used a phone level app and a tape measure...... oh wait I did lol

this is first setting it down, its settled a decent amount since I drove it back to annapolis and to work this morning
    d1hMLx8qwiFRv5LLE10FdPq7VwIwUtfehrrHHVXy_911fd47f43b830e2a3f49db92b7b1d0ea4fb0aae.jpg

had to hit the parking garage flex spot

And before and after on my crusty brake lines. Really glad I just bought them all front to back and pre-bent from the dealer with brackets. Really nice to just cut everything out and then set them in and have perfect fit on the first try

Thanks man! Yeah my buddy and I bled it really well. The 4runner rears are really easy because the electronic abs accumulator just constantly squirts fluid once you press the pedal and there's no pressure. Did fronts to to bleed anything from up there and clean out the old fluid.

Oh that's nice, that's how the tacomas with an e locker are. Hold the pedal down and it just pumps out the fluid. It's too easy.

I carry. Easy as completing and online, idiot proof course, submitting an application with the state police and paying a processing fee.

That works as long as you don't accidentally drive into MD or DC, right?

That is correct. The only long term work around i've seen for those areas is if you carry over 10k worth of valuables with you when you carry.

There are also a few options for victims of viscous crimes. Probably not what you wanna do though.

You can get a concealed in DC easy these days. They offer non-resident as soon as you have your VA and complete a few simple things. Not MD though.

I happened to look at my CCW and it expires 8/2/2021. I went onto the Fairfax County website and there is a notice of a revised application process for CCW effective 7/1/2021. In short, it requires in person competency training and they will no longer accept online training. And after 7/12/2021, applications will be accepted in person only. Again, this is only for Fairfax County FYI.

I hear that. Concealed is concealed after all, but the more of a felony it is the more risk averse I become haha

People don't get caught because they do something stupid, it's usually because someone else does something stupid. That's why I never break those rules because the consequences are too insane.

I wouldn't call it easy or cheap. They intentionally make the process a pain in the ass. You must register the firearm(s) that you intend to carry. Plus DC is obviously full of federal property so they are plenty of restricted areas.

I mean, based on what my buddy went through, DC is a cake walk compared to places like MD, NJ, NY, and CA
