Happy first day of summer.

Rob and I were just saying yesterday that the weather here on a rainy day, minus the temperature kinda reminded us of our trip to Costa Rica. Watching the clouds move up and down the mountain, the humidity, the sporadic rainfall... The only thing we were missing was the warmth.

No trades, lol, had to buy my own set. They've been sitting in the basement going on 3 years . I drive my Tacoma so little it just hit 21k miles last week.

We don't put many miles on Rob's truck since it's decommissioned to just the trail and "show".... Still in the 60k range as a 15'. I think we figured that about 20k is from off-road use.

 

No. We got rid of the first gen and leased a 2011, then when lease was up purchased a 2013 for her. 21k on the garage queen. Its seen a road trip to Texas for work and a Jeep event. I'll drive it more soon because I'm going to have my daughter drive my car for some summer intern jobs coming up. One is in N or S Carolina.

An elderly Florida couple, Sam and Bessie, are vacationing in Las Vegas. Sam
always wanted a pair of authentic cowboy boots. Seeing some on sale one day, he
buys them, wears them back to the hotel, walking proudly.
He walks into their room and says to his wife, "Notice anything different about
me?"
Bessie looks him over, "Nope."
Sam says excitedly, "Come on Bessie, take a good look. Notice anything
different about me?"
Bessie looks again, "Nope."
Frustrated Sam storms off into the bathroom, undresses, and walks back into the
room completely naked except for his boots. Again he asks, a little louder this
time, "Notice anything DIFFERENT NOW?"
Bessie looks up and says, "Sam, what's different? It's hanging down today, it
was hanging down yesterday, it'll be hanging down again tomorrow."
Furious, Sam yells, "And Do You Know Why It Is Hanging Down, Bessie? It's
Hanging Down Because It's Looking At My New Boots!!!"
To which Bessie replies "Shoulda bought a hat, Sam. Shoulda bought a hat."

But, but, dirty? Gasp, that's what I bought this for instead. My Tacoma is a pretty nice truck the way it rolls, and I just didn't want a bunch of modifications.

Yeah for sure. Usually don't see it like this until mid July and on. Also some work on a rural water tower so suppose to limit water usage this week. I put a little on it last night anyway, thought a little might help.

 

But the modifications are half the fun!!
