I removed mine, super simple to do. Didn't want my dog or gear getting tangled up in them.

Any pics or tips, besides disconnecting the battery cables before attempting it?

Honestly, it's been quite a while since I did it and didn't take any pictures. If I recall, just unbolted them and removed.

ditto. I didn’t bother disconnecting the battery. They’re not tied into the airbags (at least on the access cab, anyway).

I should have specified Access Cab. But yeah, no wires or anything like that going to rear belts, so I just took them out.

I've been doing alot of reading about bed liners in enclosed spaces and it doesnt look like a great idea. Does anyone have another idea of a textured coating that would work? I'd do carpet but i'd like a non skid type if possible

Build one that is removable so you can pull it, coat it, let it cure and then put it back in.

What features are you looking for or problems trying to solve?
The composite bed is non-rust and just an idea, with the toyota rubber mat there's some sound deadening, non-slip, increased comfort for your knees and its easy to remove and clean.

Once it has time to gas off, it shouldn't have any issues.
Did you find something that warns otherwise? Curious, because I was planning on the same thing - removable floor & using bed liner.

I used raptor liner on mine and it didn't take long to gas off. A day or two for it to be bearable and a week for it to be gone. I think there is also some textured vinyl wrap out there.

Unfortunately I did. A Google search turned up many results that basically saying bed liner never stops emitting gases. Could this be a CYA thing? Who knows, but it's already in my head now so...

I think I actually like the vinyl wrap idea. Any idea where I could find that?

I have seen a few commercial chassis trucks (dump trucks, water trucks, fire trucks) that had their cab floors sprayed with liner during a rebuild. The guys using the vehicles seemed fine with it afterward. Probably had the doors open or off when it was sprayed and cured though.

Howdy! Just wanted to share a picture of my rear seat delete on my '17 Double Cab. Went with two sections of decent plywood(only cost an arm and half of my leg) mounted on the bottom seat hinges. Covered them with a precut 6'x8' piece of carpet from Home Depot (was around $20). Left the rear storage since I use the truck as my daily/work truck and like the additional storage. Carpet gives enough traction so my pups aren't tossed at every turn.

I love to see the rear seat deletes practically dedicated to the doggos. :)
This made me think about adding printouts of her full vet records to her "go bag" if you haven't already. Saves time in case of a trip to the emergency vet (which is never ever ever gonna happen!),
