I never forget McMaster-Carr -- can't count the number of times they saved the day at the old job. If I ordered before 7 pm it was on my dock UPS ground the next day.
They set the gold standard for customer service too, people on the phone know their stuff and keep their word. (not a paid promotion :))

Finished up the kayak hailing trailer.

Sshh. (It really was a bunch of scrap metal left over from other projects).

Assuming you built it for yourself and already parting with it.

If you built it to sell, party on.

    I get you.

I have several trailers already to haul my own 'yaks. It was either haul the shorts to the scrap yard or seam some iron together to make a functional trailer.

This time of year the yayak peeps have deeper pockets than the utility trailer peeps.

One of my former coworker had lost most of his teeth. He pronounced "kayak" as "yayak". Now we all pronounce it that way. I have no idea why we do this.

I probably took for granted that everyone in this thread knew I built utility trailers for a hobby. I build a dozen or so a year. Sorry.

Anyone know of a online company similar to sendcutsend or oshcut that has this ability?

Got a little time to work on the plasma table.

This is fun to me. The computer and electronics, not so fun.

But it's slowly coming around and moving in a positive direction.

Welded up some fishing pole holders for my upcoming fishing trip next week. It was a bit harder than I thought it was gonna be haha.

Well here's my monthly snotted up, can't see to weld anymore, hacked up shit to hold the kayak. Had to raise up the brackets to clear the solar panel. Worked great and the phucking thing never took flight on the way to the lake.....yet. LMAO.

Having a welder comes in clutch for more than just fabrication stuff.

Replacing the brake lines from front to rear, I rounded this bolt. (yeah its crusty I know :annoyed: :( ). Line is leaking because I cut them out just out of the pic frame, rather than dealing with the flare nuts, since I was replacing with new anyway
    PS5UjI2e970iKjlzXjTnRTAk1RNd5T4tu0Rh1FMf_8e63854b03f1932bc867e6cfc015da6d8829ead3.jpg

But I had a random nut to weld on there
    4TZgoBY8pw6ojabSNLSZCXlLzeaUJ7SeEDP_ju4t_6f6e372597575e0686247e0e865db6e77f22a025.jpg

    and it came right out
    OjUa9pBb9RyWRIo07BWyzVgeily4kwjyEqgP21TI_c4dd01c8de243c1e7baa0d336678368409f8d381.jpg

and replaced them with the new new. Fresh lines from front to back, weren't actually that expensive from the dealer. Soft lines are +2"
