Big Agnes Fussel UL 850 for $150?

 

i appreciate the offer but Big Agnes products have never worked for me. Hoping for the REI Magma 30, Therm-a-rest Vesper, or a cottage company.

I've been in the market for a quilt to add to the hammock and camping gear.... I usually like big Agnes stuff with the wide shoulder bags and extra length for tall people.... But that quilt isn't what I'm hunting either.... Let me know what you find @andrewtheadventurer

Well it is time to start selling some stuff off of the truck, to fund the next upgrade.

I have a fist generation prinsu roof rack for a second gen double cab. I am thinking $450 obo. Just so everyone know this isn't your average EAF rack I actually used it to haul stuff from time to time. So she ain't brand new but 100% functional and still a great rack. Just pulled her off today.





I also have a second generation prinsu topper rack for a short bed. As the same as the other roof rack this was not a show piece. I actual haul stuff on it from time to time. So she ain't perfect but will still look great on your truck and even better you can say it has been used. I am thinking $450 obo for this one as well. If you want both I will let them go for $800 obo.





Then finally I have my ARE CX topper with rails that were installed by the topper company. This topper has been on the truck since 2014. So she has some wear on her, but nothing major. The struts for the window should be replaced soonish but they hold the window up great in the summer but a little weak in the winter. It has both sliding side windows with good completely intact screens. The front window is in great shape and slides. The full front window does fold down for cleaning. So I have wheeled the piss out of this truck so there are some scratches on the topper but nothing that is deep or very noticeable. I am thinking $1400 for my TW friends.

Same. $200 Big Agnes sleeping pad with maybe 15 total nights on it is completely useless.

The I-beam construction is a disaster and I too fell victim to the “won’t hold air anymore” design flaw.

And naturally it’s past REI’s 1-year warranty.

 

Contact big agnes directly. Their warranty should cover it and if it is a valve issue, they’ll send you a new pad.

 

I have one guy that has interest that PMed me before you. So let me talk to him real quick and I will let you know. If I meet you the price is firm.

 

Nothing for thermarest (not aware of them issuing any pro deals). Check out hammock gear and enlightened equipment, no pro deals since they are cottage company's. But both make great quilts. I've used a Hammock gear burrow for years.

I’ll try. It’s the baffle construction that sucks ass.

 

They had no issue with us my wife’s glue on hers separated. Be prepared for the generic response that says “we need you to send us the pad.” Its a generic message. I sent them a picture of the glue failure and a message “isn’t this obvious? Do I need to send it in?” Had a great customer rep email me saying it was generic and gave me some options of what pad. Ended up upgrading to the trail boss. Forget REI but i highly recommend them for customer service
