Finally got around to washing it yesterday, man did it need it. Went ahead and applied some 303 protectant to the Softopper too. Did it rain this morning? Of course it did.

Go with a reputable brand like Sherpa, ARB, front runner, etc… I personally don’t have much luck with parts/items ordered through Toyota

The bipod leg angle will not affect your shot consistency. That is an Atlas bipod and the legs can go rearward or forward 45 degrees. They are a super stable bipod.
Now shooting off of a bouncy platform like your truck while not squared up behind your rifle instead of laying prone in the dirt will not help your accuracy. Also hooking the trigger will not help you either.....

What lights did you use? Is your switch in the bed or did you wire to the dash?

    Oh man…
Yeah… I started building my shop 1 year ago, had no idea prices would get so ridiculous.
Normally, I’d say you’re spot on. Local lumber place here and they’ve been my go to for the entire build. This was about $2500. It’s been a year process so far BECAUSE of the wood inflation. Original plan came in under budget, by the time we had it 3/4 built I was over budget and did just enough to weather proof it which put me in the red so it’s been a “do a little here and there” thing when I can. Really want to get the siding on this year so the front overhang needed to go on before that happens. Prices still suck, but I’m only going to build this once and it’s going to be exactly what I want. Too much invested to cut corners or settle for something that’s not what I want. The only thing I’ve hired out is the 50k lbs of concrete for the slab. Lots and lots of help from neighbors, family and friends. And now I can pay if forward by helping out the above mentioned along with any of you hooligans here who happen to stumble by with a full shop. And the tiki bar upstairs means the stumbling can continue after the work :D

Yeah the switch came with it and he gives plenty of wiring to run from the rear all the way to the battery. Hardest part was drilling the hole for the switch and getting the switch to stay in the hole while assembling it. Measure 2x drill 1x. Pretty sure that was the first hole I drilled in this Tacoma.

Here's an install video he has linked. I did not drill the hole for the wire though. I shoved it behind the bed rail https://youtu.be/r4j9PYdsWWY
