    Hopefully it didn't come across as a rub, that wasn't my intention. With our road trips along many different routes, we always end up with a lot of time to talk and observe the landscape. It's funny how many times we end up in the middle of places that remind us of travels elsewhere. Like Craters of the Moon in Idaho looks exactly like parts of Hawaii :notsure:

    Pennsylvania has always been on my bucket list mainly because of the Mutter Museum, but it's also just an incredibly beautiful area that I don't have experience with. Hopefully we make it that way in the somewhat near future :fingerscrossed:

    Go to Gettysburg Nat'l Military Park in the off season.
    I'd recommend Autumn.
    The history alone is worth it and take your time on the battlefield.
    Read what's on the monuments. Visit the Museums.
    The farmland is absolutely beautiful and the Park strives to keep it as it was in 1863 (before the battle).
