Amazing what a paper clip and 16 minutes of waiting patiently can accomplish.

Mental preparedness for transmission fluid drain/refill?
    90+ degree weather?
Tools, fluid, crush washers, etc set on tailgate?
    Truck jacked level?
    Camera gear setup?
Shallow 24mm socket to access fill plug?

    :annoyed: FML.

Appreciate it. After seeing that my regular 24mm socket was way too big, and given how hot and nasty it was today, I just packed up and decided to order that set instead of running out to buy a single shallow socket.

It's probably a good plan. I've been messing with my irrigation system outside today. Don't know what I was thinking.

I put rock lights in yesterday. Was in the garage with door open and floor fan on high. A job that should have taken maybe an hour ended up being 4 with all the breaks. Wicked nasty yesterday.

Me: "Alexa what's the weather forecast for today?"
Alexa: "Today will be cloudy with a high of 81 degrees."
Me: "Alexa, is it going to rain today?"
Alexa:" There is a zero % chance of rain, by the way I can ..."
    Me: "Alexa STOP"

So I proceed to get setup for my trans fluid drain/refill. Starts raining 10 minutes later. BITCH.

This was almost just me as well.

“hey Google, what time is it supposed to start raining?”

“chance of rain is low today in Chesapeake.”

*loads up baby and goes for a walk*

“huh, it’s really stormy looking out here.”

*checks radar and sees that rainfall is imminent*

I turned around and got inside and 30 seconds later it started pouring. We got lucky.

Down here it only rained long enough to soak the street since Mother Nature knew I'd by laying on my back in the parking lot for my trans fluid stuff. 9% chance of rain tomorrow so :fingerscrossed:

Btw Brian, I did my Throttle Body cleaning and Mass airflow sensor cleaning today and your videos were perfect. Walked me right through. Cheers sir. Keep up with the great content. My Throttle body was dirty as hell.....first time done in 124k.

Thanks buddy! I'll probably clean both of those again soonish since it's been about a year.

Truck levelled and ready (weather-permitting) for trans fluid drain/refill tomorrow. Turns out my ramps work perfectly to level the truck where I park.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I just washed and waxed two.vehicles, so I'm sure you're safe for the rest of the day.
