thanks for not posting the front end
& thanks again for the install.

initial butt dyno is you can feel the difference in the initial throttle response from stop to speeding up in the lower rpm band.
still thinking of getting tune done soon to see what full on real difference we get

Is it sad that it's almost been 2 weeks since I got this done, and only 1/2 tank gone through? Or that i didnt feel anything in the butt dyno?

I really just need to go on a drive for a whole tank or two

Are you tuned? I ask because urd sells these with the uconn and has gains of like 20 horse... Or that's what's advertised.

Edit: also comes with a lower temp thermostat. Not exactly sure what that changes.

I'd take the numbers with a grain of salt, and that most of the gainz are coming from the uconn tuning. More gainz = more hot, lower thermostat keeps it cooler

Clean Maf (I know you haven't found cleaner yet)
Clean throttle body (if it hasn't been done)
Make sure ecu has been cleared (disconnect battery for 30 min, or hook it up to a scanner)
Let it re-learn idle for 5-10 min after its been cleared
Give it at least a full gas tank or two before you see any mpg gains
It's not a power house add-on, but you should see mpg gains and get a little more pep

I wouldn't stress on the maf cleaner. That's not why you're not feeling results. If anything, it's what you already mentioned; gears/heavy additions, etc. Although still surprised you didn't feel ANYTHING after the install.

As for a tune, I had a standard tune done w/in a couple weeks of the gear install. I have a 6mt and although I felt a little bump in low end response I don't think I would do the tune again. I'm sure it's great for Auto trans owners but for the purposes I use this truck for...it wasn't worth it. So keep in mind what your goals are for the truck before you decide on a tune.

A tune isnt on my radar at all. Im perfectly happy with what the truck does now. So if anything, I get a small bump in mileage and its barely noticeable, Im still happy. Hey, at least I got my valve cover gaskets changed.

Oh and @greenEFSI I did clean the throttle body during install. And new spark plugs.
