Oh wow, these are surpisingly cheaper than I had thought. I thought we were looking upwards of 100k.

 

Nah, only restriction in the States is that it has to be 25 years old by the title date which references both the month and year of birth.

Venezuela or Spain for left hand models and South East Asia for right handers. The left hand cars will cost more simply because they are left hand and allot of people are confusingly scared of right hand cars here in North America. More petrol options in the left hand cars and nearly all right hand cars are diesel.

Cars out of Japan tend to be the best examples with very nice interiors as Japanese don’t eat or drink in their cars. It will likely smell like cigarette smoke as they love their tobacco. Heaps of references on the internet to remedy that.

I have a right hand drive HZJ77 and love it. Doing a rebuild on its engine soon to ready the internals for a turbo.

Been busy with life so I've been lurking more than anything lately. Truck needs a bit of tlc

I got a lot of projects for the truck piling up, but what the truck actually needs is a bath.

 

Not enough time with all the OT I've been doing/trying to do. Need to clean my garage so I can get the pig inside and replace the uniballs on my UCAs and switch my leaf springs around my rear end is leaning pretty good

 

I need to clean the garage out because we'll be adding a new vehicle to our fleet soon. Taco still has to sit outside

 

Whoohoo, power is out again. Good times.

 

Good excuse to take off and go camping.

 

It’s back on, but yeah. The boy is at BSA summer camp right now and had a miserable first night last night. For medical reasons I keep it cool in the house at night and the heat mixed with all the bugs getting into the wall tent they are sleeping in had him calling his mother to come home around 0330 this morning.

Amazingly he survived and I talked the misso down from driving out there “right this minute” and collecting him. I imagine he took my advice and bought a midgie mesh screen to drape over himself from the little shop that they have there.

He did send this to me this morning, says he and his mate found it in their tent this morning.
