Amazon. Best $30 spent on my Tacoma thus far. It matches the perforated leather on the steering wheel and feels good in your hand. I’ll try to get the link and post here for you.

It shows unavailable right now but I’ve seen it show up in there on and off over the last two years. It’s really worth getting it.

 

Finally got around to adding some color to the new @7r41lbr34k3r shift knob. Ultra fine point Sharpies worked great and were super easy!

 

Just added MESO shift knob switches to my TRD Pro shift knob. Going to tie into the ABC switch.

 

Did they finally resupply the @MESO switches!?!?!

Thank you for this! Received the punched leather version and it matches the steering wheel and my Clazzio perforated leather seat covers nicely. Looks OEM. It is heavier than the stock knob and feels and functions great.

 

I drilled and tapped an old pool ball. No insert or jam nut necessary, just some blue Loctite. I did the same thing with my old Pathfinder (and color matched the paint work just the same ), it works great.

Shoutout to @7r41lbr34k3r for the boot collar, it’s way better than the grommet solution. Now if I can just track down a rubber accordion style boot to replace the awful pleather one.

 

Now you just need to mod that shift knob.

I’ve posted a thread on here asking about it, no one else knew of anything that would work. The irregular shape of the boots and way the mounting works on the third gens, and maybe second too, doesn’t help the situation. Believe you me, if I get around to trying something that can be made to work, I’ll post it! Just don’t hold your breath haha!

I also recommend the 7r41lbr34k3r collar. Just don't be an idiot like me and throw away the o-ring that comes with it. Fortunately, I was able to eyeball one at the local Ace Hardware and it sits solidly in place now.
