Is your current OR not premium?

It's not a premium TRDOR, It only has the tech package and LED headlights.

Gotcha, I was like that seems like a pointless upgrade (even from me the dude who has had 12 of them, lol). But premium 100% worth it.

Yeah I'm starting to lean on waiting for a 2022, 45k seems high for an OR, might as well get a pro. Trade in right now is looking to be 41.8k on my current Tacoma.

Yep, thats what I was quoted on the LR Pro I was gonna snag before some buyer in WA paid $2k over MSRP and swiped it from me hours from picking it up, honestly at this point if you are paying MSRP I'd wait for a 2022.

That's unfortunate!, are you planning on getting the lime green? I'm not too sure about that color for the 22's. I tend to lean on neutral colors.

Im actually gonna wait for a Tundra, the misses is talking kiddos in about a year or two and hoping the 2022 non pro versions will be just a tad less fugly, but overall I like what I've seen so far. That or I'll mod the sh*t out of my current taco. Ya lime rush will be cool for like a year but its one of those colors that wont age well.

I have a build date of 7-16. Are you all getting pre build VINs from your salesman? My salesman has not been helpful and says that Toyota doesnt do temp VINs. However, I have seen a lot of discussion about them.

Yes they give pre-build VINs. More like "spec" VINs they just display exactly what you ordered, and any addons from the port or dealer. Once the truck is built, the temp VIN becomes invalid on toyotas site, and a few days later your dealer should give you a real VIN. Kinda weird that your dealer would say they won't give you that.

Toyota does issue a temp VIN. The day the truck is built a permanent VIN will be assigned. Push on your sales person. They can get you info.

Thank you! I thought so. That is what I am looking for. I want to make sure the dealer ordered my Truck correctly.

I agree, that is kind of the point of the temp vin. To verify you are getting the correct configuration allocated to you. That kind of worries me that the dealer won't share it, could be because theres an extra package or something on it and hes just going to tell you to deal with the higher price once it arrives. Or not, maybe hes just a crappy dealer and doesn't want to give you the temp vin cuz hes dumb.

I also have a build date of 7/9 and the dealer told me to expect it delivered to the dealer lot 2-3 weeks after that date. I'm in Colorado.
