I may have forgotten to post here. :anonymous:

    Passenger side all welded up.

Never got a picture of the driver side because lazy. :bananadead:

All sealed up. I did look for pinholes when welding, but seam sealer, undercoating, and flex seal better do their job otherwise I'll be very sad and depressed.

I think @Robmonster117 did something like that. I bought some clips that I'm going to use in the meanwhile. I'm going to probably have to take 1.5 inches out of mine just to have them clear my tires.

This. I had to lose the inside lip and a good portion of the vertical part of the flare as well.

I’m actually planning on pulling mine this weekend and trimming a bit more before I paint them with black trim paint. They’re looking pretty ragged.

Still vastly prefer the look of the 315s with flares versus without, though, and they’ll look even better after getting some love.

I noticed a pretty significant difference going back to my flares with regards to the mud on the truck. Still gets on there some, like you said, though, but way better in my case.

The first trip I took with the 35s I ran into a bunch of rain and bentonite clay near the San Rafael Swell. I still find that shit in nooks and crannies five years later

I'm trying to stay close to the fender line I got. Something like 1.5 inches should be more than enough to clear the rear at full bump once I have bump stops in the rear again. The front is going to be interesting since I'm running spacers. 1.5 inches would be enough to clear full bump without turning, compensating for lock to lock is where I'll have to take my time.

Yep. Can confirm truck looks a whole lot more complete with the fender flares back on. So happy to have this whole project over with now. Time to get back to camping and wheeling.

Speaking of flares, I finally got sick of mine looking tore back and nasty because of fading, so I painted them with three coats of trim and bumper paint. It looks so much better now!

Once the paint had cured up nicely, I took the boy up to one of my favorite local trails. It was nice to get on the dirt for the first time this season!

Ya'll making me regret selling my flares. I just look hagard af.

[IMG]Untitled by Michael Halat, on Flickr

Though there are a lot of things that make it look hagard besides the flairs :p I still need to get a back door made to make the soft top reach the end of the bed, and the rust on the doors def aren't helping my looks either.

*EDIT* Where did that dent by the tail light come from? :notsure:

I'd have to go 37's cause these 35's already look small with how much body I cut out. :p

It’s funny how that works. I thought the same thing after tubbing and cutting the fenders and bedsides. Proportions are everything.

Literally my logic right here. Except I want to refresh my suspension probably next year. 2.5x10s in the rear, new coilovers up front, maybe a new leaf pack depending on how much I feel like spending. LT is something I've though about since 2.5x8 coilovers are cheaper than stock replacements. LT then means then I'd be likely to throw 37s and beadlocks on it because I have no self control

I saw that on Fred's IG. Super dope! I'll probably be smart about it and try to avoid LT so I don't tempt myself for 37s. No promises though. :p

That truck is bad ass Cory. Well done. Really well done. You totally took care of that problem. Let me ask you what fender flares did you go with?
