Shit, that's a ranger engine. If it's really only the distributor and i had the space, I'd snatch that up in a second.

Any visible fiberglass work that needs to be done? Bayliners are pretty well built boats for the most part.

 

Nope none that I can see. Looks like fishing/cruising. I think $700 would be a decent offer.

 

Yeah, just gotta be sure the stringers are in good condition and the foam is in decent shape.

 

I just called the guy. Super cool dude. This was his and his sister boyfriend’s.
They went fishing on the river and it crapped out. Got it back to shore and was going to replace it with an electronic distributor. Sister’s BF lost interest and and it sat for 1.5 years. No fiberglass damage or issues. Pink slip in hand, said price is negotiable and he has too much crap on his property. He also have a three seater Seadoo with a trailer with a bad starter along with a 2 seater Kawasaki jet ski with a trailer. Asking 1700 for both jet ski with trailer. After the comes back from camping he’ll take it out by the driveway and put a for sale sign. He doesn’t do the CL thing as he’s old school and and don’t know the internet lol.

 

Damn that’s real tempting. Happen to get any pics or know what years the skis are?

 

He actually texted me the pictures. Said Seadoo needed a starter, the other needed a tire or something . I told him I would share and he said feel free to. Said free to message him.

 

Or maybe he meant 1700 for both jet ski and boat. I know he wanted $500 for one of the jet ski and $700 for the other.

 

My dad had a boat back in the day. He gave it away. Just needed a tune up but he didn't wanna deal with it. Shortly after the divorce we took some white girls out on it. They lived a few houses down. Boing!!! Lol. I was 15
