I'm keeping my streak of 11:30p bed and 5am wake. I feel like a zombie and my lower back has never been any worse. But I have been accomplishing an inordinate amount of stuff the last few weeks.

 

I get into cycles like that sometimes...

how's the caffeine consumption?? haha

 

Last night I was finishing up an episode of tv and it was 11:20. I was tired so, cool, time to sleep. I then laid awake until 12:30ish trying to ignore the problems my brain wanted me to think about

 

It's pretty high, lots of espresso and two energy drinks yesterday. I don't even like energy drinks.

You're doing it wrong, the staying up has to be doing something important so you're worn out when it's done. Then you don't have to dwell on your thoughts.

 

I used to do a LOT of that but I've mellowed out the last 6 months. Dealing with personal stuff has killed a lot of my personal project energy and momentum and I've been doing the bare minimum of maintenance type stuff to keep my shit on the road

I think I'm ju8st lucky to have a good personal life and not a lot of concerning things going on outside of a normal workday, after work is all playtime (or side work, which has been playtime basically) right now

 

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've been missing it. I want to get back to fabrication type projects and shit like the Tacoma
