Your suggestion may require a hefty legal fees and possible issues to your freedom...

There's always time to do it right the second time.

I've said that several times to jokers here, and I still get blank stares. :goingcrazy:

I believe razor wire would be considered a Booby Trap.

Although, you may be able to nullify the Booby Trap claim with Warning Decals on the side of the truck about the razor wire.

    "WARNING!!!"
    "CAT protected by Razor Wire"
    "Severe Injury Hazard"

Of course, have the Warning decal made in the proper OSHA colors

I've received several suggestions that I paint the Cat-Converter with bright-orange High-Temp Paint. The premise being that it will discourage someone from taking it to a scrap dealer.
Anyone have thoughts on this idea?

I've seen threads on here of people that tried that to no avail. While it may (and hopefully) discourage some, it's just paint at the end of the day. If the meth head knows the scrapper will take it, then it won't matter if you paint it. Welding rebar to it would be more effective, anything that deters them and makes YOUR vehicle a less attractive option.

Just ordered Cat security product after checking it all out underneath. It seems like a damn good idea protecting the area anyway. I have not looked up yet what the rubber hoses and catch-can looking device are, but they are very exposed. Plus the “secondaries” are exposed as well. Look like Cats to me, if I was a thief. Sorry, not a mechanic, but after dropping 700 on my 02 tundra due to Cat theft, Im feeling overprotective
