Moving to Murfreesboro in August and I gotta ask, do ya'll get shit for driving Toyotas out there? I imagine folks are obsessed with their Chevrolet, Dodge and Fords..


Coming from CA and it turns out that our auto insurance is actually going UP...

I asked the agent, she explained, the laws/rules are but different out in TN, example she gave is a car/truck does not even need a hood on it...Now I can only imagine the kind of trucks I will see out there..

 

You can drink beer in the passenger seat, too. Welcome to the wild east! I think everyone respects Tacomas, regardless of what they drive. I get nothing but compliments. My Toyota is more American made than some of these 'American' trucks anyway..

 

Good to know! haha....Right? I know a lot of 2nd gens were assembled in San Antonio..Mine was assembled in MX but we'll just slap one of those US flag magnets on the side...

 

I get nothing but complements. Especially when my army green pro was the only green one in the area.

 

The biggest difference you'll notice is the government trusts and respects honest law abbing citizens right to own and carry firearms. I hope that those moving here leave their voting habits in Kalifornia. Don't move here and vote against our freedoms. Otherwise welcome to free America.

There was trash and food debris splattered on front door of house this morning so this afternoon I installed a bright led motion activated light that I could see easily from living room and staged my 'Fuk you stare into the sun' candlepower spotlight so i could jump up to catch whatever/whoever may be out there.
Twice tonight already damn raccoons coming right up at my door. Guess i need traps now.

 

I trained mine to go to my neighbors. Now the only problem is they cut across the corner of my property going back home and sometimes drag his trash into my yard.

 

Lol. It was neighbor's trash they had brought to the front door. My house is on the path back out to the woods.

 

So sounds like your neighbors already have a training program in place

 

Which reminds me. I can sell most of my 10rd mags now..

 

Not truck related at all, but remember Mt. Juliet, which will be about 30 minutes to an hour drive depending on where in Murfreesboro you are. We have two restaurants where you can get decent fish tacos, California burritos, and carne asada fries. Also prepare yourself for a new thing called "seasons."
