Actually it may be a direct fit.

Check the part number and cross reference that to the part number for 2nd gens. I'll bet they are likely the same.

 

You'll need a different flange for the front for the donut style gasket (these come w/ one like on the 4 cyl trucks) and possibly a short extension. I believe @hemitruk retrofitted a gen 3 exhaust on his gen 2 4.0 a while back

 

Why wouldn’t you just get a 2nd gen TRD? I just saw it for pretty cheap after I googled it. I think it was $246…..like 40% off

 

Anybody have a set of the URD equal length headers for v6 4.0 without air injection (2005 -2011) for sale?

Looking to put some boost gauges in the cubby hole spot above the cup holders. I know I saw a picture of someone who had done this before but can't find it now. Does someone make a template or was that custom?

 

@loginfailed made a custom mount for that. It turned out really clean

Thanks, that's the one I was looking for! Want something exactly like that. But gives me something to work with. Gonna have a friend try and 3d print a frame for that space

Make template using separate pieces taped together and you can get exact shape .

Maybe if we ask @Iggy he'll make some/have a group buy. Once upon a time he made them with one gauge and 3 switches. I’d need 3 gauges now.

 

I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing the print file. I just gotta order some gauges first. Will keep ya updated
