Looks like we missed the brunt of the storm by 25 miles. We just got heavy rain. It also hit right near my work in Washington County, Maryland. Really hope they didn't loose power and the switch gear got even more screwed...

Yo, yo, yo fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to hump day!! It was cool and rainy here all day yesterday - just ended up reading a book all day.

Grass cutting day, today. But, it's 43F and foggy so it will take a while to burn the moisture off before I can cut.

G’morning fellas, after the chandelier event yesterday morning, ended up taking a nap and then got a call to service a tractor. Tractor service took longer than expected because the one blade nut is either way over torqued or seized. Frustrating for sure but I had to order some parts so I’ll get back to that with “bigger” tools and or possibly “heat” .
Christian asked if we could go fishing at joes place. So we ended up there around 7:45 and fished until 9:30. Joe and I took a walk and found some deer and let a painted turtle back into the wild. Sometimes they’re given small turtles and then after they seem to be in good health we plop them back into the creek.

Now I gotta get up and moving. Christian has “farm” work to do today and I’m mowing at joes place. I’m also taking the mother in-law to Trenton/Mercer airport later this afternoon. Which is why I took another day off. So we’re busy today. Oh and I didn’t do anything about the ceiling paint yet you boys enjoy

 

Good morning PA TW. Didn't have much to do last night so wasn't to bad. I'll be glad when 3:30 comes and I can get home and get some good sleep. Power naps in the bucket truck not cutting it. Everyone have a great day and be safe

Good Morning Pennsylvania
Good productivity yesterday, knocked out 5 lawns, my in town stuff is caught up until Friday.

A friend gave me a huge bag of garlic scapes. This morning breakfast is beans, bacon, onion & scapes. He also gave me a dozen free range eggs so breakfast yesterday was a pretty impressive (for me) omelette, same ingredients minus the beans. Nice perk of retirement is not needing to worry so much about what might be on your breath post meal.

Edit: Unfortunately the wife doesn't like beans, onions or garlic...

 

Good morning all! Gorgeous morning this morning, pleasant break from the mugginess and high humidity.
