I would say nothing could be worse than the months I went though in CA only to get the middle finger at the end but apparently even in LA County, Sheriffs are handing them out a lot more readily as a big fuck you to the cries to defund the police.

DC is just too much of a minefield with all the federal land though and like you said, never underestimate someone else's ability to do something stupid and out you.

I got my master key email yesterday, but no registration...unless they are the same? I've heard people say both master and registration, leading one to believe that there are two keys needed?

That's a good question. I haven't done anything with it yet. I've been busy with other stuff. If I was forced to answer the question I would say they are one in the same.

I hope so. I haven't done anything yet either since my cable has been awaiting shipping since Saturday (label created).

Like burn straight to Maine or total trip time because we did that trip in 2019 and New Hampshire was well worth a couple days. White Mountain NF was insane in the fall.

All I can say is get your fill of seafood because it's the best I've had outside Seattle. I think we had lobster and oysters every day we were in town. If you're doing Bar Harbor and Acadia, there's a lobster spot right before the bridge that was good and there's a bar in Bar Harbor we hit with a pretty good local selection. Geaghan's is in Bangor and has an outstanding Irish Red if that's your thing.

Didn't bring my rod unfortunately because it was pretty much end of season but there's several rivers and lakes around good for bass and trout. Right now you'd be good all over but they recommended the lakes for late summer.

I’ve only fished on a short portion near my grand parents farm but the Kennebec river has some good fishing.

I second @velogeek. My uncle used to joke about lobster being cheaper per pound than hot dogs…don’t sure if he was serious or not haha

edit: I think it would also depend on if you have a boat/kayak since I’m not familiar with how much public access there is to the river.

We spent a week in a camper in Bar Harbor, literally 150 yards from the water. The lobster is incredible and cheap, as was most of the seafood. There was a restaurant on the harbor that kept there fresh caught lobster in the bay until it was meal time. Acadia was awesome. First time I'd ever seen a seagull not feed off trash or following a tractor in a field. We like aquariums, so we stopped in Baltimore and Boston and saw those on the way up. And we stayed off the freeway once we got to the coast. I want to go back.

What's the best way to list used firearms for sale? I have a bunch of hunting guns that I really don't use and need to go. I have poked around Armslist and GunBroker a bit and just confused myself. I only want to sell them in VA to avoid all the extra BS.

I usually sell to friends but I've sold one on armslist before. In the description, I just said that I'll only be selling to a VA resident and will be checking their license as well as doing a bill of sale. The transaction went smoothly.

All armslist does is put you in contact with buyers, like craigslist. Then you two can email back and forth to figure out how you want to do the sale.

I normally come back from vacation with a dozen 1 1/4 hard shells caught that day for $100.

Agreed, this is why I haven't got one. Imagine having multiple guns that you like to carry, depending on weather/ dress, and then having to add them, AND doing that whenever you get a new one.

Very tempting. I'm trying to find information on it, but the brand is a NAPA brand. Found some reviews on an Australian parts store. Mostly positive except for hardware complaints.
