Just easier. Plus cleaning up. Also I did not do this. My mechanic did the work and was teaching me. But it was a bit of a pain for me as a learning curve.

I think most factory suspension bolt specs are grade 5/8.8. I usually try to replace with grade 8/10.9 when I can.

10.9 is similar to grade 8.
8.8 is similar to grade 5.
I would want 10.9, but I always want to use the high tensile strength bolts. They don't cost that much more.

I'd be more worried about them bending then rusting.

Thanks! Already been lurking there. She's rough cosmetically, but pretty solid mechanically. Glad I got the 05, the vvti and a750 are nice.

I was in the beginnings of chasing down my bad gas mileage.,so I figured I'd pull the mass air sensor and give it a bit of cleaning. Look at what I found.
    20210622_192724.jpg
There's a big hole that's been rubbed into it from my poorly relocated cruise control module. I guess I'll order a new sensor and properly move the cc module.
It was a day of gems for me. Look at how great my rear durabumps are doing.

Both sides are the same condition.Looks like my bumps/spring pad needs to be moved forward. But my tires run in the front already so I'll just flip them around someday. There still way better than hitting the stock bumps.

Mine rear durabumps are doing the same thing, I’m going to weld some plate on to the landing to extend it out.
