    Morning Andy

You asked how I got 30 days off. I bank my leave to take as much as possible when grandkids are here. Works out to about 30 days in Summer and 2 weeks at Christmas. I earn 156 leave hrs a year and usually get a performance bonus time off award that floats between 18 hrs and 40 hours. If the bonus time is low, I take less leave at Christmas. There are four loadplanners in my shop and we deconflict our leave schedules to cover each other. I also have time seniority so I'd win my choice, but we work it out amongst ourselves and try not to let it get to that point. So far it hasn't, so no hurt feelings. ;)

Morning everyone. Back from the gym and oatmeal is on the menu. Then off to Washington, Mo for some shopping. Did not make the greasy hamburger yesterday. Maybe today.
Y'all be safe out there, lots of folks running around aimlessly. LOL

That is awesome. What a great way to spend time with the grands during summer break.

We have 6 weeks vacation plus 6 floating days off.

We just can't take more than 2 weeks in a row.

Years ago my wife planted cacti in our garden, even though our climate is not really suited for anything more than these little guys. I eventually moved them to a more inconspicuous location - behind our garage, to avoid a potentially thorny situation. Once a year they bloom for a few days. Their blood red color is attractive, but not enough for me, as I am the one who has to keep the weeds out. If I had my way, I would dig them up and toss them. Anyway, here they are in the early bloom stage.

Yea I wouldn’t want that either.
When I first got married we ended up with a cactus somehow.
    Over 4 feet tall.
We had to lean it against the corner of living room.

Thanks. I will need a pair of heavy duty gloves to extract them, as I am not very dexterous. I have had those pin like needles in me before and they don't come out. I am surprised a deer or other local critter never came for them.

you have to peel off the skin and get rid of the little spines but they have a ton of juice.

I was thinking of utilizing my time by packing the camper so that I can GTFO right at 5pm tomorrow
Also, its garbage day so I got my salmon packaged up and in the freezer. Figured it would be wise to get rid of hte stinky fishy stuff and not let it sit on the curb for a week in the heat

Take the salmon packaging with you and when you get to the camp ground and someone runs the putt putt generator all night return the favor by discretely leaving the wrapper for them (and the friendly bears)
