New Tacoma

Hello folks. I traded in my 2016 4Runner SR5 yesterday for a 2021 Tacoma TRD OR in Cement. It won’t be at the dealership for another week or so, but this was the 3rd one I tried to buy. The other two were gone before I could even get to the dealership. Ive been wanting a Tacoma for a while and with the way the used car market is, I couldn’t pass up the trade value on the 4Runner.

Oh yeah, it’s only been 12 hours and it already feels like forever. I was just really glad I was able to get a Cement and didn’t settle for a different color like I did with my 4Runner. For anyone that is curious, this is the 4Runner I traded in.

Welcome, I recently went through the same thing. Ended up taking a month for mine to come in.

 

No tonneau sadly. I need to get one and I’m debating on which one to get. Probably going to get a tri-fold of some sort.

 

I am going through the waiting game right now also. Pre-bought a 2021 OR in Army Green. Can’t wait for the apple car play and power driver seat. Took all my accessories off to move over to the new wheels when it gets here. Supposed to be in between June 21-28. We will see.

 

I snagged the diode dynamics fogs out of my 4Runner since they are a direct bolt in for the 3rd Gen. I didn’t have the time or the desire to pull the Bilstein lift kit out though.

 

I like the extang that lifts up against the back glass for full bed access, but I can’t find one in stock anywhere

 

Got the call today that my 2021 came in today. Pre-purchased last week while truck was in route. Kudos to Kolosso Toyota in Appleton, WI for delivering on time and at a great price! Sold my 2019 on Vroom and purchased new 2021 from Kolosso for a net difference of $1500 (minus tax). It was a no-brainer to get the Apple car play and power seat with the bonus of a new truck and moving up 2 years and 18,000 miles.

 

Awesome to hear, I’m hoping my gets to Ohio sooner rather than later.

 

Eh, suspension had around 70k miles on it and with as fast as these trucks are getting sold I just let them have it. I’ll end up going with Icon or something on the Tacoma.

 

I didn't pull out my heated seats either . Way too much work that is an all labor project (mine) so there is no value of recovery.
