In the 4th gen fb page, everyone is buying it lol. I've seen at least 30 posts about it between today and yesterday, so they must be good if everyone wants em. I guess having the factory roof rack tends to make it easier for 4runners to attach, so they're all buying them up haha

Let us know how it goes Dave, I might want one for the overland points lol

My plan was to make them meet me at any police department parking lot to make the transaction. If they show up I'm just going to assume they are honest enough :anonymous:. Two of the guns I wouldn't sell to friends. Both have accuracy issues IMHO. If I can't put a three shot group touching a dime at 100 yards then I don't consider it an accurate firearm. Actually I think they may be decent if a muzzle break was added.

VA went full background checks didn't they? Gonna need an FFL for anyone that isn't family now.

I haven't checked the law lately. Last I looked private sales were about as regulated as trading baseball cards

Which sucks for me, since my girlfriend has family in MD and we will be going there often.

Yeah, I'm SOL there. I've seen a multi-region training course online that satisfies VA, MD, and DC requirements. I may do that and see why MD rejects me.

Yeah, seems like it's not great. Could be worse, but still. I'll likely try and get a DC permit though.

What are you selling? PM me.

The law unfortunately has changed. We can no longer do this in the state of VA, without going to a FFL and conducting a background check / legal transfer.

Vote for pro gun politicians if you like your rights.

Edited to add: It sucks that this is where we are. Whoever has power shouldn't be the deciding factor of someone's natural rights. this makes a right a privilege.

Anti-gun PACs smelled the blood in the water and dumped absurd amounts of money into VA the last election cycle. They had about 15 gun control bills queued up before the legislative session even started because you know they wanted a return on that investment. I don't recall anything being retroactive but if you care about that thing I'd read up to cover your ass.

Dang this is BS. One more reason Idaho is looking pretty darn good. While we are on the topic of new laws. They didn't change anything with guns you receive as a gift did they? So do I need to register my old guns someone else completed a background check for and gifted me.
