Is the space different between auto and manual?

 

I'm not completely following the discussion so, apologies if I'm confused. If you're talking about the console space in front of the shift stick, 6MT and A/T spaces are definitely different.

 

Yes you’re following along/understanding correctly. This was my mistake if they’re different.. i thought they looked like the same size but now looking back at the pic it looks like the cupholders in the auto may change that. Maybe someone with an auto can post the length, width and depth so we can compare..

I've seen a rocker switch panel for sale for tacos and the auto and manual are slightly different. The Manual one appears to have more curvature on the bottom edge.

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. There are pics of differences between A/T and 6MT consoles in the 3D printed wireless charger for 2nd gen thread... Notice how squared-off that area is in front of the A/T's cup holders, vs the 6MT's curved area in front of the stick itself. Here's a side-by-side shot of the A/T and 6MT chargers. This is why I (as a 6MT owner) was so eager to get a "3D printed wireless charger for 2nd gen," which works well, BTW.

 

Y’all could make your own pretty easy. It’s just a piece of ABS cut to fit and wrapped in vinyl. Use spray glue to adhere the front and then use CA glue on the back side edges to keep it from peeling up in the future. If you get it sized right, it just press fits in there and doesn’t move.

3D print would be cool, but that vinyl wrap is looks sexy AF.

Stood next to someone air hammering some rivets off a SVT lightning the other day. Remembered I had headphones in the car and slapped those on my head. Any longer and I think I might have tinnitus.

 

The ignition coils should be finished at the end of the month too

 

I was cutting some aluminum the other day with my Harbor Freight miter saw. I didn't think it would be terribly loud but boy was I wrong. I wound up being deaf for the next 5 hours and learned my lesson to use my headphones when using that damn thing after that. And you bet those headphones were on everytime thereafter.

 

That was the guy actually using the air hammer. “WHAT?” Was pretty much the only word I heard for the next several hours. Anytime the loud tools come out my headphones are going on. Fuck all that. I can’t afford to lose anymore hearing. My moms normal speaking volume can barely be perceived by mice.

 

Woohoo. Almost a month earlier than the original expected delivery date!

 

Gonna look great my friend. It all should be easy and good to go. You probably will have to slightly bend the dust shield back a tad for clearance on the rotors. You can see here on the lower half of the shield.
