Welded up a hidden hitch for my buddys truck so he can run a cradled winch.

No codes. But I've been on a few rides and I was I'm the middle of the pack just eating dust for days so I figured I wouldn't hurt to check.
In all fairness my truck has really poor aro.
    But 14mpg is pretty bad.

Finally put the refinished wheels and new tires on the truck. Pain in the ass project but I'm happy with the color.
    16x8 FN Verge wheels
    285x75x16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W
I'm very happy with the ride quality now, way better than my KM2 33x12.5x15... and no more rubbing. They sit closer to the fender which I like, no more tire poke.

Why did you chose a Renogy Rover? Do you have a dual battery system? If so, does your auxiliary battery charge off your alternator and solar?
I am just getting started with my future solar setup, and I have loads of questions.

No. I had aerosol automotive paint cans custom mixed. The paint code is from a 2001 Ford Taurus. My attempt to match Volks mag blue wheel color. I hand sanded, then primed, paint and satin 2k clear coat.

I should’ve got the axle pushed forward, oh well.

Hopefully the front stuff goes somewhat smooth

Because manual hub Toyota’s should have red dials..
Every Toyota 4wd I’ve had before this truck had red dials and since they needed greasing and had them apart i went ahead and painted em..

Alcans seem to push the axle back a little bit on some trucks or with some sets of springs I guess. @turbodb had a new top or eye leaf made with the pin moved to center the axle again.

You can see how the axle isn’t centered in the wheel well.

I used the all pro relocation plate to fix it

There's also axle relocation plates that mount on top of the spring perch that'll move it forward an inch or so.

This is interesting. Mine is not striking directly on my Timbrens either. So far no chunking.
Have planned on doing something similar. But to not have to change the bump height, probably will build a whole new strike plate that is offset about an i" or so.

Are you running Alcan springs too?

I thought for sure my 33s would rub after putting in my Alcans, they also moved my axle back. Based on where it sat while on the ground it looked like it would rub.

Flexed the rear out to test and it cleared fine though. But if I ever go bigger than 33s it'll require the relocation plates. But I have axle shims installed, probably not good to mix the two

No I still have the dever j59's but I added a OME add-a-leaf and it seems to have bandaided the issues I was having . I think I'm going to have a local company make me a set of springs when the add a leaf wears out.
