Too late for a 2021?

Just an FYI- I was updated today from the dealer I have a deposit with for a Lunar Pro. Looks like he was off on his guess about how many allocations are left for 2021 production. He told me today in a text that id have at least one more, probably 2 which means July20th is likely last allocation.

 

As someone who has spent plenty of money on modifying cars there is definitely value in just being able to drop the truck off at the dealership to have it fixed for anything. Not to mention a conglomeration of aftermarket parts is never as headache free as OEM. I just want a truck I can enjoy on weekend adventures, the Pro is the best option for that no question.

 

I have two Lunar Rock MTs on order that are scheduled to arrive at port on July 27th and August 23rd. I don't think they stop production on the current year until September. The dealers/regional reps that I've talked too seem to think Toyota will follow through with any customer order made, so long as it's accepted. Both of my orders were made back in March/April, so not sure if they are accepting orders now.

 

My dealer seems to think I have 2-3 weeks before I’m out of luck. I have one dealer that is supposed to get back to me this week, but if it doesn’t work out with them, I’m going to sit back and relax until I know for sure Toyota won’t accept my build. After that I’ll start scrambling again, but i won’t be so focused on color.

 

Got my hands on a 2021 Lunar Rock Pro AT for MSRP! Can't believe it was so hard to find one that wasn't marked up for $10-15k over!

Got it from Briggs Auto in Fort Scott, Kansas. Flying in to Kansas City on Saturday morning, they are picking me up, and then I will finish paperwork at the dealer! That is some serious customer service! To put it in perspective, the dealer is roughly a 90 minute drive from the airport.

Dealer down in Maryland actually offered to pick me up in NJ, about 3.5ish hours away. I ended up taking the train to Baltimore which was 45 minutes from their dealership. Anything to make a sale...although I would think since supply is so low that they probably didn't HAVE to do that for you in order to get the truck sold.

Made it back in one piece! I absolutely LOVE this truck. I knew I liked it a lot when I test drove a TRD Off-Road, but these Fox shocks are amazing!

Just stepped outside to snag a couple photos to post in here. I won't throw in tons because I know everyone has seen one before, but a couple are necessary! Love that everyone I drive past stares! The color is incredible. Now I need to cancel my order at my local dealer!

 

Im jealous. STILL waiting for my allocation to go through. Hasn't been rejected yet, so hoping for a July 5th approval. ugh!! CONGRATS to you!!!

Weird new color, cement retired.. 2022 is not looking good for new buyers who want good colors.

I wish at least Quicksand or Cavalry blue made a come back.

 

Haha Nope! I will however take either a Super White Pro with the Bronze wheels/grille from the trail edition or a Magnetic Gray Metallic with the same setup...BUT only if I can't get a Lunar Rock Pro.

Cement is still available for 2022 I have placed an order and put down a deposit on double cab long bed with everything offered …also some new package for 2022 …we couldn’t tell all the details at the dealer just a new number for an upgraded package

I’m happy to report that I will finally be getting my 2021 Lunar Rock Pro! Deposit sent late March. This was the update I received today!

 

Is that a new blue I see on that list? Blue Crush Metallic.
