Who in here does insurance again?

After 4 years of living here, I guess it's time to give up my low Ohio rates, my cheap registration, and my no inspection county.

Having driven a 2 door Exploder before, they are unstable at highways speeds on the best of days.

Bought the last one at academy. It’s a cheap one but it will work for the time being.

From what I've seen of Charlotte proper, thats suitable but youre also going to need something belt-fed on the top...maybe even a Mk 19

Yeah, once we're there I'm sure we wont venture far and as far as me going downtown will be very rare

I know Columbia isn't as bad as Charlotte but I still rarely adventure down town.

You won't really need to leave the Steele Creek area very much. Also, Charlotte doesn't have a downtown. It's UPTOWN. :duh:

    that's our plan.....

Now that there is a Cabelas by Carrowinds that may be a far north as I go, I doubt I will go close to uptown or downtown unless fully locked and loaded.

A couple years ago when they had some r̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶w̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶b̶u̶s̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶i̶n̶d̶o̶w̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶o̶o̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ peaceful protests, I had to walk from home and get my wife from work since they would not let her leave the building. I had back-ups for my back-ups. We don't live in town any more though.

Uptown Charlotte, at one time, was a beautiful area. Last time I went there I passed a tent city driving in, paid out the ass to park, the elevator from the parking deck smelled like an unflushed toilet, I had 4 people panhandle me in two blocks to the Epicenter, caught a whiff of a blunt walking through the Epicenter and got to the door of Mortimer’s Cafe an hour after their normal opening time to find a sign on the door saying they were opening two hours late for no reason at all. Passed all kinds of people using the foulest language loud and openly that made me glad I didn’t have a child with me. But hey, I didn’t get robbed so that’s good I guess. I’d imagine most large cities are like that but it’s definitely not a place I enjoy going.

Wow.... I am not really worried about the area we will be in as I have a sense that the folks here will not put up with BS from the few that have welcomed us to the neighborhood when we were checking out the house.... What was funny is a couple from the down the street walking the dog said "you're not bringing any of the stupid shit from Virginia are ya" I said no sir hopefully leaving it behind us his wife said thank you... I about pissed my pants
