Do it while you think you have the green light! Wife agreed to a lift on ours this week and got an appointment in 3 weeks to get it installed. Too late to be against the idea now! Lol

I am going with a 3.5” RC suspension lift after some positive reviews from some friends with it and the affordability (nice work bonus to pay it all off). Able to fit 285 without any trimming. For some light to moderate off roaring I figure it will get the job done

Cleaned her up in time for a week long of rain coming and finally am officially plated up! Waiting on my front bracket to come in tomorrow but honestly wish there was a grill bracket(similar to a tow hook mount on some sedans), personally digging the zip-tied look I’ve got going. 78998F2B-D21B-429D-8B18-FEC0B2E3D4DE.jpg

The snail armor tailgate insert is nice and flat, but i still dont want to kneel on it. So i added a 1/4 inch piece of rubber over the top. Way better. Couldnt do that with the stock insert, too wavy.

Registered the Lexus credit card key using Toyota Techstream. Process takes less than 5 minutes.

Eliminated the rub from my new 285/70/17 KO2's on stock suspension and wheels with +12 offset.
    Removed the air dam

    Removed front mud flaps
    IMG_0525.jpg

Did a little trimming of the front bumper cover and relocated the fender liner bolt forward a bit.

Our trucks are almost twins. I've been leaning toward getting M/T's. Was torn between sticking with Nitto and switching to Trail Grappler M/T but was torn between those and the Toyo Open Country M/T. Now I need to add Yokohama to the list. Anyone out here have a solid preference?

    Great, one more tire.

A good write up on them there https://****************/2021/04/02/cooper-stt-pro-vs-cooper-evolution-mt/

I live in North Georgia where wet clay is prominent and extremely slick. I wonder if that would be more synonymous to ice/snow and in that case the Evo M/T might be better.

I'll have to post this over in the GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread as well.
